Houseplants have long been a specialty at Wm. Wheat & Son. Back in the early 1960’s we were one of the first nurseries to arrange foliage and flowering plants together to create indoor gardens. These plant arrangements are all individually created on the premises and make fabulous gifts. We also keep a large range of indoor plants of all sorts of varieties and sizes.

Our plants make perfect presents. At Christmas, more than 500 indoor gardens and 1500 Poinsettia plants are grown here on our nursery and make an incredibly vibrant display from the beginning of December. Philip Wheat, the Retail Director, who co-ordinates the retail area is a self-confessed 'plant geek', full of useful information about gardening.
