Nature Blog

Welcome to our new nature blog, which you can find here: http://wheatswildlife.co.uk/blog.

The blog is intended to make more people aware of the work we do to encourage wildlife to our Garden Centre. We hope that you will visit to see the butterflies flying around our butterfly garden, our large carp swimming in our pools, to feed the ducks and geese that will happily eat out of your hands or whether you wish to sit and relax with a flask of tea and watch the birds feeding at our feeding station at the back of Bourne Pool.

Redpoll - photo by Ben DolanWm Wheat & Son welcomes visitors to the Wm Wheat & Son Garden Centre and we actively encourage school groups, Scouting association groups and many others to the site. You can walk the wildlife trail, feed the ducks, fish and watch the bird feeders completely free of charge. Just contact us to let us know when to expect you as we have a number of events throughout the year you may wish to get involved with.

We also welcome Brewood Bird Ringing group to our garden centre who are working with us to improve habitat for our wildlife. What is bird ringing? Find out here.
